In his spare time, Paul Hilditch explores ancient cities, soaking up their historical architecture and art. His work is often a reflection of this pastime. With great attention to detail, the Moorcroft designer has captured every detail of two nesting owls in the safe surroundings of a gothic Cathedral window. A grid of colourful squares map-out where panes of stained-glass lodge between incredible stone tracery. The owls huddle protectively over the peaceful stone niche in which they have made their home. There may even be the quiet squeaking of owlets, born into this stone sanctuary.
